Privacy Policy
Effective August 19, 2026
This policy describes what information cruandcellar.com (the “Site”) collects and how it is used. The short version: the Site has no accounts, no comment system, no newsletters, and no advertising, and it collects as little as a website can.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not ask for or store names, email addresses, passwords, payment information, or any other personal information. There is nothing to sign up for.
2. Analytics
The Site uses privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics provided by Vercel Web Analytics to count aggregate page views and visits. This measurement does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices for cross-site tracking, and does not build individual visitor profiles. Data points such as page URL, referrer, country, and device type are recorded in aggregate. Identifiers are anonymized hashes that expire within 24 hours.
3. Server logs
The Site is hosted by Vercel Inc. As with virtually all web hosting, Vercel processes connection data (such as IP addresses) in transient server logs for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
4. Cookies
The Site does not set cookies.
5. Third-party fonts
The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives your IP address as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy for details.
6. Sharing links
Article pages include links for sharing to third-party platforms (such as X, Facebook, and LinkedIn). Clicking those links takes you to those platforms, which have their own privacy practices. No data is sent to those platforms merely by reading the Site.
7. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from anyone.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
