1. The Site is satire
Cru & Cellar is a satirical publication. Its articles are works of fiction presented in the format of news journalism. All wineries, companies, organizations, people, events, statistics, and quotations appearing on the Site are invented. Nothing on the Site is a statement of fact, and nothing on the Site should be relied on as news, advice, or information of any kind. Any resemblance to real businesses or real people, living or dead, is unintended and coincidental.
2. Intellectual property
The content of the Site — including articles, headlines, images, and design — is owned by Cru & Cellar and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may share links to the Site and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not republish articles in full, remove satire disclaimers from shared content, or present the Site's content as factual reporting, without prior written permission.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to violate any law; not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its infrastructure; not to scrape the Site in a manner that degrades its availability; and not to present Site content in contexts designed to deceive readers into believing it is factual news.
4. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party services, including social media platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Cru & Cellar is not responsible for them.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Given Section 1, accuracy is affirmatively disclaimed.
