Tasting Note Author Runs Out Of Fruits

Note for wine 361 reads, in its entirety, "fruit."

Facing a 400-wine review deadline and a palate she described as “cooked,” veteran tasting note author Cheryl Ostrowski confirmed Wednesday that she had exhausted the available fruits, sources reported. “I’ve used cherry, black cherry, sour cherry, cherry pit, cherry cola, and cherry preserve. That’s all the f**cking cherries I know,” said Ostrowski, whose most recent notes have included boysenberry, mulberry, unnamed dark berry, and “a berry.” “By wine 300 I’m reaching for things I’ve never eaten. I described one as loganberry. I have no idea. Nobody has ever pushed back on loganberry.” Ostrowski’s note for wine 361 reportedly read, in its entirety, “fruit.”
