Couple's Napa Trip Yields Four Wineries, One Argument

Dispute begins in parking lot at Winery Three, resolves on Highway 12; couple has booked again for next year.

Completing a meticulously planned two-day itinerary assembled over four months, visiting couple Ryan and Steph Kolbeck concluded their Napa Valley trip Sunday having experienced four wineries and one argument, sources reported. “The whole point was to relax,” said Steph, referring to a schedule that included a 9:45 a.m. reservation, a 40-minute drive between appointments budgeted at 15, and lunch. “We were nine minutes late to the third one and he wouldn’t let it go.” The couple confirmed the argument began in the parking lot at Winery Three, resumed at dinner, and was resolved on the side of Highway 12 after a tearful, screaming breakdown by mutual agreement that they’d both been tired. They have booked again for next year. “It’s really just the best. We’ve never been happier than we are in Napa”
