Guy Who Visited Napa Once Now Explains Napa
Local man recommends Sonoma as more authentic, has not been to Sonoma.
Holding forth at a backyard gathering Saturday over a bottle nobody had asked him about, local man Trevor Ashby explained Napa Valley to eleven people on the strength of a single four-day visit in 2019, sources confirmed. “See, the thing most people don’t understand about Napa is it’s all about the AVAs,” said Ashby, who visited three wineries, two of which were on the same road. “Rutherford dust. You either get it or you don’t.” Ashby went on to describe Napa as having lost its way, to recommend Sonoma as more authentic, and to confirm he has not been to Sonoma.
